Barry Major is a native of Atlanta who has been in the commercial real estate business since 1983. After graduating from the University of Georgia, Mr. Major began his career in the real estate business with the Atlanta based firm Robert S. Jordan Company. Along with the primary responsibility of serving the firm’s clients with brokerage services for commercial and residential tracts, Mr. Major helped coordinate from the ground up several of the firm’s retail developments. Since entering the real estate business and as a partner with Major & Arroll, LLC, Mr. Major has successfully completed land transactions in all the metropolitan counties. This includes land for shopping centers, mixed use projects, multifamily and subdivision land, as well as land for investment purposes.

Rich Arroll is also a native of Atlanta and has been in the real estate business since 1985. He graduated from the University of Georgia and then began his career with the Frank M. Darby Company. The Frank M. Darby Company focused on leasing, management, and land sales. Mr. Arroll gained experience in the valuation of improved as well as unimproved assets. He was instrumental in starting the land sales division for the company. His primary focus has been the sale of land for mulifamily and commercial uses inside I-285. He has extensive involvement in land sales as well as the zoning process in the City of Atlanta, Fulton, Dekalb, Gwinnett, Cobb, and Cherokee counties. Mr. Arroll has been involved in land transaction for institutional uses, public and private developments, multifamily, subdivisions, townhomes, and a variety of commercial uses.

Andy Been was raised in the coastal Georgia town of Brunswick and graduated from the University of Georgia in 1983. He began his real estate career in 1984 with Property Systems Corporation and then affiliated with Cochran Properties (now known as Paces Properties). Cochran Properties was one of the premier land investment and brokerage companies in the region at that time and Mr. Been was involved in the brokerage of several of the company’s assets as well as third party brokerage. His experience ranges from the sale of commercial land to the sale of several large mixed use residential and golf communities such as Bridgemill in Cherokee County and Chestatee in Dawson County. Additionally, Mr. Been has developed more than 20 single-family residential communities in the Metro Atlanta and Augusta markets which, combined with his background in land sales, provides invaluable insight into the company operations.

Ward Entrekin is an Atlanta native who began his career in the commercial real estate business in 2001. A graduate of the University of Florida, Mr. Entrekin’s focus has been the sale of infill land to residential and commercial developers as well as the disposition of existing buildings for adaptive reuse projects. Prior to joining the Major and Arroll team, Mr. Entrekin worked for local companies Ackerman & Co. Carter and Hughes Commercial RE where he gained experience in nearly all facets of the industry, including tenant representation, landlord representation and investment sales.

Wendy Thomason is an Atlanta native who joined the company in the summer of 2018 as an Executive Administrative Assistant. She graduated from Ohio State University and worked in private aviation. She began her commercial real estate career in an administrative role with Fuqua Development company in 2015. Her responsibilities at Major and Arroll, LLC includes roles in project management, research, marketing and office management.
